Job summary

Recreate Behavioral Health Network is seeking an LPN/RN to join our team and deliver medical services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role oversees nursing care and coordinates with the Medical Director to manage medical and psychiatric needs of patients in an addiction treatment setting.

The ideal candidate has an Ohio LPN/RN license, at least 1 year in addiction treatment, and strong nursing and administrative skills.

Qualifications

• Ohio LPN/RN license required.
• Experience in substance abuse preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an addiction treatment facility setting.
• Must be team-oriented with strong nursing and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with good communication and strong medical background.
• Provides individual medication education on nursing topics and concerns.
• Collects information and documents per licensure and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical services under supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Oversee medical and psychiatric management with Medical Director.
• Monitor clients for signs of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Maintain all necessary nursing documentation.
• Provide guidance to technicians on assigned shift.

Job description

We are searching for an LPN/RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. The LPN/RN is responsible for the delivery of medical services, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The LPN/RN is responsible for all nursing related services for each patient/client. The LPN/RN is responsible for providing medical & history screens, providing individualized nursing care and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient/client in coordination with the Medical Director. The work requires monitoring clients for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal. The work also requires maintaining all necessary documentation. The position is responsible for providing directions to the technicians on assigned shift. Must be available to work weekends and have shift flexibility.

Skills/Requirements

• Ohio LPN/RN license required.
• Experience: Substance Abuse preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an addiction treatment facility setting
• Must be team-oriented and have strong nursing as well as administrative skills
• Ability to work on several assignments at once, good communication skills and strong medical background.
• Provides individual medication education on topics, issues, and concerns relating to nursing discipline.
• Collects information and completes documentation for each patient/client in accordance with licensure and current policies.
