Job summary
Friends Homes, Greensboro, NC is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for the overnight 3rd shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This full-time opportunity offers shift differentials and weekend requirements in a supportive, team-focused long-term care setting.
As an RN or LPN, you will administer medications, monitor residents, assist with ADLs, document care, and collaborate with CNAs and the care team to ensure quality outcomes for residents in our faith-based Life Plan
Qualifications
- CPR certification required or equivalent.
- Current NC RN or LPN license.
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent) required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor resident health and report changes in condition
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, including MARs
- Supervise CNAs and support the care team
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
- Respond to emergencies and follow safety/infection control protocols

Friends Homes is hiring Full-Time RNs and LPNs for our overnight (3rd shift) team. If you’re a compassionate nurse who enjoys making a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-focused environment—this is the opportunity for you.
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: Full-Time (every other weekend required)
- LPN Pay: Starting at $27.00+/hr (based on experience)
- RN Pay: Starting at $32.50+/hr (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: Available for all shifts, including weekends
As an RN or LPN at Friends Homes, you will provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting, supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.
