Job summary
The Arc of Ocean County is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Residential Services nursing team in Brick, New Jersey. This full-time position provides clinical care and healthcare coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while collaborating with agency nursing staff, residential leadership, and other healthcare providers.
Position details include location in Brick, New Jersey; schedule Tuesday-Saturday; shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM;
Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Ability to provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and clinical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Monitor health status and respond to changes in condition.
- Assist with medication administration and treatment regimens.
- Coordinate medical appointments, treatments, and lab work.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and residential staff to ensure continuity of care.
