Job summary

Journey in Tucker, GA is seeking a Nursing Leader to direct the daily activities of licensed practical nurses and CNAs, ensuring holistic, compliant care for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum nursing degree required; RN license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required or current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurse and CNAs per regulations and facility policies.
• Follows nursing model to promote holistic resident care.
• Ensures policies are followed by nursing staff; participates in admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assesses changes in resident status; notifies physician and family; documents accordingly.
• Transcribes physician orders and carries out orders as written.
