Journey in Carrollton, GA is seeking a dedicated RN leader to oversee daily nursing activities in our long-term care setting. You will supervise licensed nurses and CNAs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and uphold our commitment to quality resident care.

As a member of our home office-supported team, you will mentor staff, participate in admissions and transfers, and collaborate with physicians and families to tailor holistic care plans.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with a nursing degree from an accredited college.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Directs daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs in line with regulations and policies.
• Promotes holistic care using the nursing model.
• Ensures compliance with policies by nursing personnel.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers as required.
• Assesses changes in residents' status and communicates with physician and families.
• Transcribes physician orders and ensures accurate documentation.
