Job summary

LifeView Group is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida to provide skilled nursing services for adults and children with mental health or substance use needs. You will work under supervision to assess, plan, and deliver person-centered care while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires an LPN license in Florida, CPR certification, and CPI training. You will participate in care coordination, documentation, and safety protocols in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Florida.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must be able to perform CPI and behavior management techniques with training.
• Must provide integrated mental health and substance abuse services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients.
• Conduct assessments and treatment planning under RN/MD supervision.
• Deliver direct patient care and support in a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Document care and coordinate with multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in risk and safety management and CPR when needed.

Overview:

Primary duty is to provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or medical doctor, and to provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Services include but are not limited to assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services using specialized knowledge and skills and management of client risk and safety.

Role Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida.
• Must be certified in CPR.
• Must be able to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training.
• Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• Must be eligible to participate in state or federally funded programs such as Medicaid.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.

Compensation:

Base pay ranges between $23.5846 to $25.4279 per hour. Salary is based on experience.
