Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Madison is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide bedside care under the supervision of a registered nurse at our new 40-bed inpatient rehab hospital in Madison, Mississippi. This full-time night shift role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current state licensure as LPN.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• IV Certification required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and therapies as prescribed, tailored to patient age and condition.
• Under RN supervision, provides direct patient care and assists with assessments.
• Implements and updates the nursing care plan based on patient response.
• Performs timely QI assessments and supports rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and communicates with patients and families.
