Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold NC LPN license with renewal proof.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff, including charge nurses and Directors of Nursing, on the unit.
• Provide resident care under supervision of an RN, following the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff and monitor performance.
• Contribute to quality assurance, infection control, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with resident assessments, new admissions, and documentation as directed.
• Participate in team meetings and monitor skin integrity with weekly assessments.
• Report employee performance issues and assist with emergencies, including CPR and physician communications.
• Support coordination of the healthcare team and other duties by the Director of Nursing.
