Springfield Clinic in Illinois is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care under the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and support daily office operations. You will interview patients, record health history, monitor vital signs, assist physicians, provide patient education, and coordinate referrals while upholding HIPAA and clinic policies.

Competenze

• LPN (LVN) education from an approved program.
• IV therapy may be performed after completing an approved course.
• Current licensure as an LPN in Illinois and CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Interview for nursing history, assess health knowledge and maintenance; document findings in medical records.
• Obtain medical information, vital signs and diagnostic results for physician review and document in records.
• Serve as a patient advocate; address complaints and ensure patient rights are upheld.
• Provide pre- and postoperative instructions for procedures as applicable; coordinate with care teams.
• Administer medications by non-IV routes; assist physicians and maintain Infection Control standards.
