Job summary

Masonic Homes Kentucky is seeking an LPN or RN to join the Sam Swope Care Center on Louisville Campus. The role involves caring for residents needing extended medical care, supervising therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Position offers shifts 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, with weekday or weekend options. Active KY license and LTC experience preferred; background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Kentucky.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work with a team in a nursing facility.
• Consent to background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents requiring extended medical care; oversee treatments and prescribed therapies.
• Collaborate with nurses, medication aides, caregivers, dietary aides, housekeepers, case managers, and nurse leaders to provide exceptional care.
• Maintain documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, staff training, quality improvement, and resident rights at facility standards.
• Provide care for residents with dementia, advanced wound care needs, dialysis, heart failure, and IV medications.
