Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center's Psychiatric Services (Inpatient Unit) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for per diem shifts. The LPN will support the nursing team using the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
• Previous hospital or nursing home LPN experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Licensed or eligible for in the State of Vermont, or as stated in Title 25, V.S.A., Chapter 27, #1555.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Able to institute life-saving measures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are required and the ability to interact with a variety of customers groups.
