Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision. You will administer medications, implement care plans, and participate in an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates have an accredited LPN program, an active LPN license, and the ability to meet state requirements including any IV therapy certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; an associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board.
• Minimum 400 hours of experience as LPN or supervised clinical experience.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required as specified by state nursing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; communicate with care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
