Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision. You will administer medications, perform treatments, and document outcomes while maintaining resident safety and confidentiality.

The role requires an LPN license (state), and an associate degree is preferred. Additional duties include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and completing required CEUs to maintain competency.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If IV therapy/management skills are required where applicable, North Dakota standards may apply.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or equivalent hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing knowledge and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and communicate with residents and families.
• Complete continuing education and maintain required competencies.
