Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under supervision. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, competency, and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise. Recognizes problems, recommends solutions, and responds effectively in emergencies. Ensures residents' health, comfort, and safety, and documents care activities.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred. Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing board, and maintain required competencies and certifications. Experience requirements vary by position, including supervised clinical experience or a minimum of 400 hours as an LPN.
