Job Responsibilities
  • Direct day-to-day operations of the caregiver office, ensuring compliance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing assisted living.
  • Complete medical forms, QA reports, evaluations, charting, 24-hour reports for the DON, admission/transfer/discharge forms, and accident/incident reports, and document pertinent information in resident care notes/logs or communicate with caregiver staff as necessary.
  • Review monthly kardexes for completeness, accuracy of physician orders, and adherence to stop order policies.
  • Review interdisciplinary progress notes regularly to ensure they are informative, descriptive of the care provided, reflect the resident’s response, and meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience or recent graduate.
  • Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
