Job summary

Asbury Communities in Erie, PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role offers flexible scheduling and the potential earnings of up to $29.28/hour with an additional $3/hour PRN premium, depending on shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Document progress notes reflecting resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; maintain drug/narcotic records.
• Report discrepancies to nurse manager and follow disposal procedures.
• Collaborate with care-plans to address residents’ physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity needs.

Job Description

• Document interdisciplinary progress notes that provide a comprehensive reflection of resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date drug and narcotic records for each shift.
• Report any discrepancies to the nurse manager and follow proper procedures for drug and narcotic disposal.
• Collaborate with the care plan team to assess and address residents' physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity‑related needs.
