Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one nursing care for patients in the Pottstown area. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions are available with Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts, offering flexible scheduling and 8, 10, or 12-hour options.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN License.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Homecare, long-term care, rehabilitation, pediatric, tracheostomy/vent, or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a homecare environment.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Perform skilled nursing interventions, including wound care and medication management.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
