Job summary

Buchanan County Health Center in Independence, IA is hiring an LPN-Primary Care to support patient care across the clinic, ensuring timely, compassionate nursing services.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The LPN-Primary Care demonstrates the clinical knowledge and judgment to utilize the nursing process to asses, plan, implement, provide, supervise and evaluate each patient's nursing care. He/she will demonstrate regard for the right of all patients and personnel and provides respectful and considerate care focused on the patient's individual needs. He/she demonstrates accountability and responsibility for own work. Acquires, maintains and demonstrates current knowledge and competency.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Mandatory Reporter Certification required.
