Job summary

Nemours-Children in Delaware seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to contribute to the nursing process under supervision. You will gather patient data, assist with plans of care, and help with medications, vaccines, and procedures in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participates in departmental and system wide quality improvement activities.
• Screens patient and family calls, gathers information, escalates and refers appropriately.

At the direction and under the supervision of a recognized licensed authority, the licensed practical nurse (LPN) contributes to the nursing process by performing tasks within the framework of case finding, health teaching, supportive and restorative care. The LPN gathers patient data and performs follow-up assessments using the nursing process.

Essential Functions:

1. Gather patient data and collaborate with healthcare team on plan of care

This position supports the following hours: Monday 8-6:45 (with 1 hour lunch break and 30 minute break); Tuesday 1:00pm-7:30pm ; Wednesday 1:00pm-7:30pm; Thursday 1:00pm- 7:30pm and every other Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm.
