Job summary

RPMGlobal is seeking a resourceful LPN to support physicians and nurse practitioners at our Main Campus in Abingdon, VA. The role involves medical screenings, administering medications, and coordinating referrals to primary care providers or health departments during program participation.

You will obtain, review, and report laboratory results in a timely manner and accurately enter consumer information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

• Current/Active LPN license in Virginia.
• Experience in psychiatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners and provide support.
• Conduct medical screenings.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Coordinate referrals to primary care providers and/or health departments.

Job description

A position geared for resourceful individuals who are skilled in assisting and providing support to assigned physicians and nurse practitioners, conducting medical screenings, administering medications, as needed, coordinating referrals to primary care providers and/or health department to consumers while they are attending various programs at HCS, obtaining, reviewing, and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner and entering accurate consumer information into the Electronic Health Record System.

Position Specifics

Location: Main Campus - Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday - No Weekends or Nights!
Compensation: $18.50 - $20.00 - Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Current/Active License as an LPN with the privilege to practice in the State of Virginia. Experience in Psychiatric setting with adults and/or children and adolescents preferred
