PRESNow, part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for our 24/7 urgent and emergency care team. You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ED setting under RN/physician supervision, handling vital signs, medications, and procedures with a focus on safety and quality.

• BLS required at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in emergency department/urgent care settings including vital signs, medications administration, and basic procedures as permitted by state regulations.
• Assist in triage by collecting patient information and documenting symptoms and histories.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to RNs and physicians.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, splinting, and other procedures as directed.
• Support patients and families with education and reassurance during critical situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold infection control practices and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in emergency responses and team efforts during critical events.
• Restock supplies and prepare the facility for patient care.
