Job summary

PRESNow is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our urgent care and freestanding emergency care team in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide compassionate care in a fast-paced setting, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and support ongoing patient management.

Eligible LPNs must hold NM licensure and BLS certification, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement, ongoing education, and participation in our safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse - NM.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in urgent care and emergency settings.
  • Support providers and RNs with patient assessments and treatments.
  • Administer medications within the LPN scope and document in the EHR.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for seamless care.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  • Champion quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain current licensure and pursue ongoing professional development.

Summary:
