LPN (Pre Operative) Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Details

Location: Haverstraw, NY

Employment Type: Part-time, Entry level

Shift: Flexible shifts with full-time and part-time options; now hiring directly into the union

Salary: Base rate $31.94/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential for evening and night shifts; $2,500 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities

• Collect and record health information from new residents, including vitals and temperature
• Administer medications and injections as needed
• Treat and dress wounds
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Aides (CNAs)
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing
• Monitor residents' food and liquid intake and output

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
