LPN (Pre Operative) Licensed Practical Nurse

Join us as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Centers Health Care.

About the Role

We are actively hiring LPN Team Members for all shifts at Amsterdam Nursing Home, a skilled nursing facility located in the heart of New York City. Our rates have recently increased, and we offer competitive compensation including a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Compensation

• Base rate of $35.38/hour with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts
• Non-union rate of $45/hour
• New grads are welcome to apply
• Now hiring straight to the union

Responsibilities

• Collecting required information from new residents for admission
• Recording health details, including vitals and temperature
• Administering medications and injections as needed
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), if required
• Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitoring residents' food and liquid intake/output

Requirements

• Valid NY State LPN license in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
