The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Parkway Health Center, part of Baptist Health Arkansas, collects and documents admission and ongoing resident data with accuracy, reporting unusual findings to the RN and Physician.
The LPN administers medications per policy, implements the care plan, ensures a clean, safe environment, supports physicians, and supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, while prioritizing resident well-being.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Parkway Health Center collects and documents admission and ongoing resident data with accuracy, reporting unusual findings to the RN and Physician in a timely manner. This role performs procedures and treatments according to Physician orders, accurately and safely administering medications in accordance with policy and procedure. The LPN implements the plan of care as directed by the RN and Physician, receiving and implementing orders accurately and on time. Additionally, the LPN ensures a clean and safe environment according to unit standards and manages Physician consults and tests per protocol. They offer immediate assistance to residents and consistently perform essential LPN skills, such as feeding tube care, foley catheter insertion, blood sugar checks, pulse oximetry, injections, and other unit specific skills as assigned. Finally, the LPN supervises the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants.
