Candidates must be an accredited nursing graduate with LPN licensure in PA and CPR certification; long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current LPN licensure by the PA State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification (prior to or upon employment).
• Previous long-term care experience preferred yet not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' nursing care and ensure orders are followed.
• Document observations and update medical records.
• Provide direct resident care and assist with activities.
• Perform glucometer readings and basic testing as needed.
• Respond to safety alarms and assist during evacuations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
