Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will join Sanford Health's Veterans Square Pediatric Clinic, delivering high-quality pediatric care under supervision and collaborating with a single provider.

This full-time role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate medication administration, and teamwork in a small family-oriented setting. Clinic hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with cross-training across Fargo Moorhead Pediatric clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• IV therapy knowledge required in North Dakota: graduation from an Board approved program or IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state board and/or multi-state licensure; maintain required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Room pediatric patients.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Work primarily with one provider.
• Assist in implementation and evaluation of patient care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
