Job summary

Oak Plains Academy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Ashland City, TN campus, a 98-bed residential program. The role involves medication administration, care documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a psychiatric setting.

The position is PRN with 4 shifts in a 28-day period (two weekend shifts). Must be licensed in Tennessee and have BLS certification; orientation is provided and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Tennessee.
• Current BLS certification (upon hire and kept current).
• Preferred experience with children/adolescents.
• Preferred experience in psychiatric residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine health maintenance and nursing care for patients within the treatment program.
• Administer medications and document data according to facility policy.
• Assist physicians and health staff within the therapeutic milieu and contribute to individual care plans.
