Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest in Oklahoma is seeking a Regular, day-shift nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

The role involves administering medications, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and educating patients and families about disease treatment plans and self-care after discharge. Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, within scope of license.
• Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions.
• Educates patients and families about disease treatment plans and self-care after discharge.
• Works in a state of alertness and safety.
• May perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
