Job summary

Mercy in Ozark, MO is seeking a licensed practical nurse to deliver bedside care under supervision of a state-licensed prescriber or RN. Applies nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.

Must hold an accredited practical nursing program graduate, maintain current LPN license in Missouri, and complete Basic Life Support. Some units may require ACLS/PALS/PEARS. Mercy offers medical/dental/vision, tuition support, and retirement matching for 32+ hour staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state (Missouri).
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of a State-licensed prescriber or Registered Nurse.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients and coordinates patient care with other departments.
