Job summary

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned.
• Reinforce health care instructions to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the team to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care and activities.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Observe and report vital signs and patient condition.
• Document patient responses to care in charts.
• Maintain safe and comfortable patient environment.
• Support unit management and sometimes act as charge nurse.
