Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support providers within the LPN scope of practice. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will assist in care delivery and perform nursing functions.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, vital signs, patient education, transcribing orders, and maintaining a safe environment. Requires completion of an approved LPN program and Minnesota license, with CPR current.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to initial and ongoing assessment of patients.
• Obtain patient information and medical history including medications and allergies.

• Under RN direction, educate patients using standardized plans.
• Transcribe orders and manage prescription refills as directed by providers.
• Assist with medical records and lab results review.
• Maintain a safe environment by cleaning equipment and rooms.
