Job summary

Good Samaritan Society-Park River is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting under supervision. You will assess residents, administer medications, document outcomes, and collaborate with a care team while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; Associate degree preferred.
• ND IV therapy/management training or approved IV course if required.
• Supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.
• Unencumbered LPN license with state board and ongoing CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents under supervision of RN/physician.
• Assess residents and administer medications as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
• Collaborate with health care providers and maintain confidentiality.
• Support care planning and respond to emergencies as needed.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Associate degree in practical nursing (preferred)

IV therapy/management training (ND requirement if applicable)

400 hours supervised clinical experience across lifespan

State/Multi-state licensure privileges

Annual CEU and competency training
