Job summary

Lorien Elkridge is hiring part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for day shifts, with every-other-weekend availability, in Elkridge, MD. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, administer meds as ordered, and monitor residents’ conditions in a respected, supportive setting.

The position supports growth through professional development, teamwork with CNAs and care staff, and adherence to quality standards in a five-star environment recognized regionally.

Qualifications

• Maryland LPN license valid and in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents’ conditions and responses to care.
• Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and quality standards.
