Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for our pediatric urgent care team. You will provide clinical and administrative support, perform venipuncture, IV insertions, and administer medications under physician supervision, while maintaining HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

The role emphasizes pediatric care, rapid assessment, teamwork, and efficient flow in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Active LPN license and BLS are required; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state you reside
• Pediatric ER/urgent care experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended
• Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and clinical procedures

Responsibilities

• Provider clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, urinary catheterization where applicable), administer medications and assist physician
• Maintain sterile technique and HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality
• Keep exam rooms stocked and assist with patient flow and throughput in the urgent care setting
• Assist physicians with patient positioning and comfort during imaging procedures
• Respond to emergencies and provide timely communication with the care team
