Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Reliable transportation to NYH locations for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up procedural spaces and sterilize instruments for procedures.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Maintain and update electronic patient records in ONCO EMR.
• Answer phones and greet patients in the front office.
• Prepare and administer injections and collect lab specimens.
• Record vital signs and patient history before appointments.
• Prepare exam rooms and escort patients to treatment areas.
• Educate patients on medications, home care, and dietary recommendations.
