Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient LPN to provide compassionate patient care on an assigned unit in Scranton. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and up to $40,000 in support to pursue RN education, with evening, night, and weekend shift differentials up to $5 per hour.

Hours are 7am to 7:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. Full benefits begin day one, and a comprehensive tuition reimbursement program supports your professional growth within Geisinger.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contributes data to assessments, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Promotes adaptive responses to achieve high-quality care and safety.
• Coordinates patient care and staff interactions on assigned unit.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments and medications per policy.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Precepts and mentors new staff and students as assigned.
