Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO is seeking a full-time LPN to join the Surgical Ortho Neuro Team. The 44-bed unit handles diverse cases with a focus on patient-centered care. After orientation, self-scheduling is available with weekend and night differentials.

Experience in acute care is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply. The role requires a current LPN/LVN license, BLS certification, and strong teamwork in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid LPN or LVN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse and/or physician.
• Document patient care and plan of care in accordance with policies and scope of practice.
• Communicate patient status and teaching to the care team and family.
• Assist in admission, discharge planning and coordination with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory compliant documentation.
• Support self-scheduling and adapt to unit needs in a fast-paced environment.
