Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, APRN, or physician. The role requires administering medications, following care plans, and ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with state nursing board.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have trained or demonstrated clinical experience across the lifespan or at least 400 hours as an LPN.
• Maintains required department competencies and continuing education units (CEUs).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision of a RN, APRN, or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor resident status.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
