Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold a valid LPN license.
• If IV therapy is required, meet the ND-specific credentialing requirement.
• Complete a pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN.
• Maintain licensure, competencies and annual CEU requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long-term care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess residents and contribute to care planning and evaluation.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes; ensure confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.

Ausbildung

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

IV therapy/management skills requirement as applicable (North Dakota: Board approved AASPN program with IV therapy or approved IV Therapy course).

Pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across lifespan or minimum 400 hours as LPN.

Unencumbered LPN license and ongoing CEUs/certifications as required by department/facility.
