Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a full-time LPN for our Luverne, MN facility. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under supervision, administers medications, and supports resident safety and well-being within an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license, have a practical nursing degree (associates preferred), and meet clock-in requirements. This role includes benefits and a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Experience with IV therapy/management required if applicable; North Dakota-specific requirement noted.
• Clinical experience across the lifespan or minimum 400 hours as LPN at another facility may be needed.
• Maintain required CEUs and department competencies; comply with facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident health and safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with residents, families, and staff.

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as Licensed Practical Nurse

Associate degree in practical nursing preferred

Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license
