Job Opportunity: Part-Time LPN or RN Weekend Days

Join our team at Boone County Jail as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for weekend day shifts. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, including every other Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7:30 pm, with additional PRN opportunities through our online scheduling exchange.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress, and chart results.
• Establish nursing plans and work within the scope of practice and guidelines set by physicians and providers.
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations.
• Follow through with established treatment plans.
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking skills.
