PRIMARY PURPOSE: Use nursing skills to ensure that individuals maintain good health and are able to participate in desired daily activities and relationships.

LOCATION: HAVERHILL, MA

SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION: 16 Hours, Tuesday and Sunday, 7a-3p

PAY RATE: LPN = $34.21 and RN = $38.62

Key Activities

• Administer medication when in the assigned home.
• Daily assessment of all assigned individuals
• Ensure safe and effective personal care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Staff training in medical protocols, personal care skills, specific treatments, and healthy lifestyles
• Provide skilled nursing care as prescribed by the health care provider
  
  

Other Duties As Assigned, Including But Not Limited To.

• Go on outings with the individuals
• Assess medical equipment for appropriateness and safety
• Update medical records
• In some homes, order medications
• Review medication sheets and medical documentation
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license
• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• The ability to travel within the service area of residential programs
• Computer literacy and the ability to document electronically
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and a minimum of one year of driving experience
• Regular and predictable attendance
