Job summary

AdvisaCare seeks Registered Nurses to support patients in their familiar surroundings in Lansing, MI, and surrounding areas. We provide skilled, private duty, and hospice care with a focus on transitioning patients safely from hospital to home and improving quality of life.

Openings include per-diem, part-time, and full-time roles with flexible scheduling. Join a team committed to compassionate, professional in-home nursing care and ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Current MI Nursing License is required.
• Proven nursing experience in home health, private duty, or hospice preferred.
• CPR certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments.
• Ability to work independently.
• Participate in training and transitioning of the patient from a facility to the home setting.
• Comply with all policies and standards of safety and infection control.
• Perform duties in a courteous, customer-focused manner per AdvisaCare standards.

Requirements

• Current MI Nursing License
• Proven Nursing Experience
• Familiarity with Professional and Technical Emerging Knowledge

• Reliable Transportation
• Valid Driver's License
• Work in a Team Responsibly and Independently
• Compassionate with Good Communication Skills
• Ability to Travel within the Service Area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to Pass Drug Screen/Clear Background
