Location: Tuscaloosa County Jail

Open Position: PRN LPN or RN

Schedule: PRN, 12-hour night shifts from 7p to 7:30a

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing patient care, evaluating symptoms, reactions, and progress, charting results, establishing nursing plans, and working within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice, Guidelines, and Physician/Provider instructions.
• Administering prescribed medications according to nursing standards and correctional regulations.
• Following established treatment plans.
• Performing emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking.
