Position Details

• Location: Douglas County Jail
• Open Position: PT LPN or RN
• Schedule: Every other Saturday & Sunday
• PRN also available

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within the scope of practice and guidelines set by State, Physician/Provider(s).
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations.
• Follow established treatment plans.
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking.
