Position Details

• Location: Douglas County Jail
• Open Position: PT LPN or RN
• Schedule: Every other Saturday & Sunday
• PRN also available

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, in coordination with Physician/Provider(s)
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards & correctional regulations
• Follow through with established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
