Position Details

Location: Douglas County Jail

Position: Part-Time LPN or RN

Schedule: Every other Saturday & Sunday

PRN positions also available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s).
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards & correctional regulations.
• Follow established treatment plans.
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking.
