12 Hr Nights Shifts 6:30am to 7:00pm 2 night shifts per week

Who You Are:

We are seeking a Full-Time RN or LPN with a strong positive attitude toward customer service. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents.The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible,tobe creative,and to work towardsaccomplishing facility goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, and documentation.
  • Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on their assigned shifts.
  • Coordinates daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care.
  • Over sees resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Monitors medical charts and provides compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
  • Acts as a liaison to doctors, families, and administrators regarding changes in resident conditions.
  • Over sees the accuracy and completion of clinical documentation per Friendship Village policy and State/Federal regulations.
  • Gives and receives shift reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Active RN or LPN license.
  • CPR Certification.
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing.
  • Thorough knowledge of best nursing practices, andstate and federal regulations.
