Qualifications

  • Must have an active LPN or RN license.
  • Experience in correctional healthcare is a plus.
  • Ability to follow established treatment plans and guidelines.

Join Our Team at:

Location: Douglas County Jail

Open Position: Full-Time LPN or RN

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
  • Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  • Follow established treatment plans
  • Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking
